Introducing Scary Sister Mary

I swear this was a class assignment:
Draw a chick w/ a gun.

This is a cropped and edited version...(the colors aren't the same either...for some reason it changed them when I opened it on my laptop.)

Yeah. Slutty nun, .45, ink and watercolor.

Updates will pick up whenever I get around to finally scanning...

In the mean time, enjoy these snapshots from random happenings in front of my computer!
(I'm not even going to explain what's going on. Things out of context are always more fun, right?)
I need a haircut really friggin bad.

P.S.
Mr. Adams. I have your shoes. If you ever want to see your "kicks" fresh again, please pay me.

You have until the 30th to comply.

Trust me. I will resort to torture.

Rainy Night in Georgia

"Joe Bevill's Get Bent and Lil' Chode and Richard are hilarious. The opening strip for Get Bent explains the whole of the series, being crude, filthy and short. Like the main character's penis. Both very entertaining books."

hehehehehe

I found that on this awesome review of mini's from Fluke.
I commend him for taking the time to review all those mini's.

Things should hopefully slow down a bit this weekend so I can finally get around to scanning all the non-mini comic work I've been meaning to scan. Lot's of inking, coloring and fun things this weekend.

Here's a "lost" Get Bent that didn't make it into the first mini collection. (Not because it's a lesser strip, it's actually one of my favorites. When I went to print the thing it just wasn't there...)

I'm going to make a few changes to it (as I did with the rest of them) before the next collection.
"Tree" heheh.

I got scolded today so I'm finally going to start my journal comic, but it'll be on my livejournal (lou_bevlo).

I'm feeling pretty good.

FLUKE

So. Yeah.

Fluke was pretty amazing. I'm still exhausted from the drive but wow.

So amazing.

Give me Fluke over Megacon any day.

I have so many new comics in my possession...I don't even know how to act. I should probably finish reading them all right? Yeah.

Good times+Good people=Great weekend.
I had a great time trading with and meeting all the other cartoonists.

For anyone who didn't get a chance to pick up the new Get Bent mini here's a taste of what you're missing. (And what will be in the next issue of the District)

New Get Bent's this week.

Each Day is a Lifetime

Fluke is running up like a freight train.

I think I'm finally getting out of the slump/lost mojo/I don't even wanna get out of bed in the morning/blaah mood..

We'll see.

I definitely won't be going to Fluke with everything I originally planned, but I can say I should be satisfied with what I do have. Quality over quantity? Let's go with that.

I'm off to bed.

P.S.

Go download some David Ruffin if you don't have any.
